ceramics Edinburgh, pottery

Hi, my name is Sandra Brown and I have a small ceramics studio opposite Granton Harbour in Edinburgh. If you're interested in working with clay, plaster, etc., I'd like to invite you to come along, no matter what your ability or how creative you feel you are. Whether it be to learn how to throw a pot, do some hand-building or sculpture or learn to make moulds to mass-produce a piece.

I have a B.A. Hons Degree and Post Graduate Certificate in Ceramic Design from Glasgow School Of Art, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Community Education from Edinburgh University.

I work with all ages and abilities - and enjoy every minute of it!

The entrance is through a courtyard; the studio is on ground level and a car can be brought right to the front door for easy wheelchair access.

All groups and individuals are welcome, whether you come to the studio or invite me along to your centre or building - as I operate a mobile service. I have many years' experience of working with people with special needs.

The studio has a friendly atmosphere with open fires and there is always plenty of juice, tea, coffee, music and chat!
